Lemon All-Purpose Cleaner
We use our all-purpose cleaner on EVERYTHING. We absolutely love it! The best part is- it only takes THREE ingredients to make... vinegar, lemons, and water. The worst part is- it takes TWO weeks to be ready. Before I begin with the recipe, you must know: My son makes the best fresh squeezed lemonade ever!! I'm not lying, it’s better than Chick-fil-A! He'll make a huge batch that I'll can up to have whenever we'd like. I use all the lemon peels after he's done juicing to make my all-purpose cleaner. And an added bonus.. I'll use any leftover juice to make my dishwasher detergent.
Make sure to use organic lemons or you'll be adding unwanted chemicals to your cleaner. Also, wash the outside of your lemons before you begin. Each product I use in this recipe can be found below.
RECIPE
Place organic lemon peels in a glass jar. I use half gallon mason jars.
Pour vinegar over the peels making sure they are completely covered up.
Let them sit in your pantry for 2 weeks, inverting every now and again.
After 2 weeks, strain the lemon peels from the vinegar and you'll have lemon infused vinegar
Dilute with water. I use half water and half lemon infused vinegar.
Pour into your desired spray bottle.
