Foaming Hand Soap
I started making this foaming hand soap during Covid-19 when grocery stores couldn’t keep hand soap stocked on the shelves. I’ve been using it ever since. It’s very easy to put together and I normally do a big batch at a time to refill all my soap holders throughout the house plus put back a half-gallons worth on the shelf.
Ingredients
3/4 cup water
1/4 cup Castile Soap (I use scentless)
Directions
Combine all ingredients.
Pour into a foaming hand soap dispenser.'
Swirl to mix in the essential oil. Do not shake or you’ll have a sudsy mess.
Note: I like to use an amber glass because over time depending on the temperature of your house and if it’s kept by the window seal, like most kitchens are, the appearance will change throughout the day. It still works perfectly but might not be aesthetically pleasing. Amber glass hides those inconsistency variations. I’m assuming preservatives keeps everything suspended and consistent. It’s not worth putting a preservative in it to me so I’ll hide it with an amber container!!
NOTE: To make a larger batch. Combine 3 cups water, 1 cup castile soap and 20 drops of On Guard or Protect essential oil.Hope you love this hand soap as much as our family does!
